OD fitting caps are caps made of LDPE (a type of plastic) that are designed to go over the outside of a pipe. They come in different sizes, following the ANSI 36.10 pipe standards, ranging from 1/2 inch to 100 inches.
For bigger pipes, custom sizes can be made to fit specific needs. These caps are mainly used to keep dirt and other foreign things out when the pipe is being transported, stored, or maintained.
